On February 20, 2023, WatchGuard Technologies released a line of tabletop firewall appliances for remote and distributed businesses called the Firebox T25/T25-W, T45/T45-POE/T45-W-POE, and T85-POE. They are part of the Unified Security Platform architecture of WatchGuard Cloud and can be managed from a distance.
These devices offer secure solutions for small offices, home offices, retail settings, and remote users, with little network configuration and management needed. Different devices have different throughput and port options to meet the needs of different businesses.
Ryan Poutre, product manager at WatchGuard Technologies, said, "Attackers pose advanced and sophisticated threats to IT environments of all sizes and types, but SMBs and branch offices usually don't have dedicated technical staff to install, configure, and manage network security appliances." He also said, "This new generation of fireboxes takes full advantage of our unified security platform architecture."
