Speed, stability, and security are enhanced as internet users transition between wireless, wired and mobile internet during the pandemic and beyond.
Connectify today announced the launch of Speedify 10, the latest version of its revolutionary VPN service that lets you use all your internet connections at once. With version 10, Speedify has been reimagined to solve the challenges remote workers and other heavy internet users face in the current environment.
Built in Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic
Many Americans are still weeks to months away from returning to the office, and nearly 70 percent of remote workers face connectivity issues when working from home, according to Independence Research. Adding to their internet woes, data from M-Lab revealed that more than three-fourths of U.S. states are experiencing slower internet speeds as the crisis has accelerated.
The pandemic has reshaped our expectations for internet access. People are hosting video calls, live streaming, and playing online games like never before to digitally engage with the world. However, despite how essential the internet is to our daily lives, connectivity technologies are failing users in critical moments. Speedify 10 is the remedy, because it lets users bond all of their available connections for increased performance as well as transition seamlessly between them without missing a beat,
Alex Gizis, CEO of Connectify.
Enhanced Features, Better Internet
From home internet to mobile data and public Wi-Fi networks, almost everyone has more than one readily available internet connection that traditional VPNs do not capitalize on.

Speedify 10 removes the friction that prevents internet connections from working together. It empowers a seamless and secure remote work experience, enhances streaming, and adds resiliency for users who cannot afford to be offline.
It stabilizes internet connections by ensuring failover between Wi-Fi and mobile internet without dropping a data stream or disconnecting a user in their networks’ dead zones. Regardless of which network is being utilized at a given moment, Speedify’s industry-leading encryption provides increased security and privacy for all user data flowing through the VPN tunnel.
Speedify 10 improves streaming by automatically detecting and prioritizing real-time streams such as video calls and VoIP, using multiple connections at once to increase reliability or provide an extra boost of speed when necessary.
Key new features of Speedify 10 include:
• Higher quality, more reliable video calls and live streaming – Achieved by bringing multiple connections together to improve performance and speed
• At-a-glance connection statistics – Performance data is front and center, enabling users to understand their connections in new ways
• Reimagined Interface – Users can easily connect, customize, and optimize their remote access experience
• Smoother connections – Support for navigating captive portals and guest Wi-Fi logins without disconnecting
When streaming live video or working remotely, technological problems are always looming. Live streaming is all about reaching your audience now, which you can’t do if your internet connection is slow or fails. Speedify provides peace of mind by using all of my available internet connections to keep me connected and streaming wherever I am. Battling internet issues is a thing of the past with Speedify — I can’t recommend it enough,
Chris Carson, owner of SteadiReadi.
Available Now, with a Limited Time Sale
In conjunction with the launch of Speedify 10, Connectify is having a special sale through June 30th on yearly and multi-year subscriptions, where users can experience its latest connectivity solution for an additional 50 percent off of annual and multi-year plans. The app is now available for download on iOS, Android, macOS, Windows and Linux.

VIRTUAL SERVER INFRASTRUCTURE
Comcast Corporation | January 17, 2022
Comcast announced the successful test of a prototype 10G modem using the core technology that will deliver multigigabit speeds to tens of millions of homes. In a world-first lab test, a Full Duplex DOCSIS 4.0 system-on-chip (SoC) cable modem built by Broadcom delivered upload and download speeds faster than 4 gigabits per second (Gbps) powered by 10G network technology.
The announcement is the latest in a series of 10G milestones from Comcast. In October 2021, the company announced a successful test of a complete 10G connection using a virtualized cable modem termination system (vCMTS) powered by DOCSIS 4.0 technology. That announcement followed major 10G milestone announcements in April 2021, of the first-ever live lab test of a 10G system-on-chip (SOC) and October 2020, of a trial delivering 1.25 gigabit-per-second (Gbps) upload and download speeds over a live production network using Network Function Virtualization (NFV) combined with the latest DOCSIS technology.
A key component of 10G, DOCSIS 4.0 is an evolutionary leap forward in the ability to deliver multigigabit upload and download speeds over the connections already installed in hundreds of millions of homes worldwide.
The great strength of our smart network design is that we are able to exceed our customers’ demands today, even as we continuously evolve to meet the needs of the future. As our 10G journey continues to accelerate, customers will reap the benefits of ever-increasing security, reliability, and speed.”
Charlie Herrin, President of Technology, Product, Experience at Comcast Cable
10G technology builds on the work Comcast has done over the past several years to build a smarter, more virtualized network. In addition to providing a path to multigigabit upload and download speeds at scale, 10G updates will deliver near-term benefits to customers in the form of increased reliability, performance, and lower latency.
Connected by Broadcom 10G technology, the modem test utilized the DOCSIS 4.0 FDX SoC device, which Comcast demonstrated in April 2021, to pair with two cable modem chips to deliver the breakthrough performance. These were successfully connected over a lab-based hybrid fiber-coaxial network to the vCMTS operating in DOCSIS 4.0 mode. This represents the first complete network connection of all-DOCSIS 4.0 components that are required for deployment. The demonstrated speeds – which were faster than 4 Gbps upload and download – are expected to increase significantly as developers refine technology at every level of the 10G architecture.
“With each new milestone, we get a clearer picture of how 10G technologies will unlock the next generation of speed and performance for millions of people worldwide,” said Elad Nafshi, Senior Vice President of Next Generation Access Networks at Comcast Cable.
10G is a global industry initiative to stay ahead of consumer demand by developing and deploying new network technology to dramatically increase upload and download capacity in the coming years.

Brave Software | July 28, 2020
Brave Software, the company behind the Brave browser, has teamed up with Guardian to bring a virtual private network (VPN) directly to Brave’s iOS browser. Now, Brave users on iOS can easily sign up for the Brave Firewall + VPN — powered by Guardian’s Firewall + VPN services. However, Brave’s VPN system also works system-wide and not just in the browser. Brave says its VPN + Firewall can protect users from data, location and mail beacon tracking along with protecting browsing data like a typical VPN. In a press release, the company said its solution went above and beyond the basic IP address masking seen in other VPN services. Brave’s VPN encrypts and protects anything people do while connected to the internet. The service prevents unauthorized tracking, blocks ads and encrypts all traffic from your iPhone or iPad.
