Open Source flexiWAN SD-WAN Software Beta Ships

Israeli start-up flexiWAN announced a beta version of its open source, open architecture software-defined wide-area networking (SD-WAN) software is available for download.The company emerged from stealth last spring with a mission to democratize SD-WAN with its open source, open architecture approach that it said signals a "second wave of SD-WAN" that will eliminate enterprise networking vendor lock-in. The company recently announced beta version 0.1 of its offering is available for download, an initial beta release intended for testing and proof-of-concept implementations by enterprises and service providers.
