Palo Alto Networks To Acquire RedLock

This week Palo Alto Networks announced its plans to acquire cloud security provider RedLock Inc. for approximately $173 million in cash. With the acquisition expected to be finalized in Palo Alto Networks' first fiscal quarter, RedLock cofounders Varun Badhwar and Gaurav Kumar will join the company.Back in March 2018, Palo Alto Networks acquired Evident.io, which helped fortify the cybersecurity vendor's offerings for multi-cloud environments with inline, host-based, and API-based security, according to the announcement. VM-Series next-generation firewall, Aperture, Evident and GlobalProtect cloud service, are all part of the company's current "cloud security portfolio," serving more than 6,000 customers globally.
