This partnership between Reveal XR Studios Network and StudioNow enables more seamless training, staffing, hiring and talent management as the network scales globally.”

Ian Wolfman, Co-Founder of Reveal XR Studios Network

Reveal XR Studios Network was formed in 2021 as a sister company solution to Reveal XR to provide a networked solution to help top companies, brands and creative producers make the shift from traditional storytelling and production techniques to pioneering XR production techniques. XR production relies on new studio environments with millions of dollars of custom configured LED technology combined with the most advanced 3D animation software to provide endless new possibilities for creatives and producers. Access to bleeding-edge XR studio capabilities and the right talent trained in XR production, along with the ability to scale at the front of the curve mean that better timelines, creative quality and ROI are within reach today.

“Successfully paving the way from more limiting production techniques of the past to the seemingly limitless possibilities with XR production requires top, well trained talent throughout the ecosystem. If you build it, they will come and be disappointed without the right set of capabilities and results.” Wolfman said.

The partnership immediately elevates what's possible for brands today…not tomorrow. One organization at the forefront of XR technology with the best talent supporting the biggest brands in the world. Combining forces simply provides a turnkey solution for any brand looking to shift their production to a safer production environment, controlled filming circumstances and better ROI.

For more than a decade the two company’s leadership teams have successfully collaborated to support shared clients in the traditional production space, including brands like The Coca-Cola Company, Walmart, McDonalds, NASA, Procter & Gamble, Netflix and Amazon.

“Our partnership is in perfect harmony with our desire to help lead our network of talent as both the creative and commercial sides of our industry begin to pioneer the way forward in XR production,” said David Mason, Chairman and CEO of StudioNow.

Funding for each location in the network of XR studios begins formally in Austin, Texas, at the same time as SXSW Interactive this March, at which time the locations next available in the US and abroad will be announced.

Remote Work is Here to Stay and Canadian Companies That Offer It Have Competitive Edge

globenewswire | December 16, 2022

Remote work is here to stay and employers offering it have a competitive edge when it comes to retaining and recruiting employees, according to a survey from The Harris Poll commissioned by Express Employment Professionals. Three-quarters of businesses (76%) that have offered remote work since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic say they are continuing to allow their employees to work remotely. The most cited reason is to help attract and retain employees (66%). Nearly half of employers (49%) say remote work has had a positive impact on their company as a whole, while only 15% say it has had a negative impact, and the remainder say it has had no impact at all. What’s more, a plurality of employers (46%) say remote work has not impacted employee productivity compared to when they were in the company’s physical workspace. Nearly a quarter of companies (22%) reported their employees became more productive, though one-third (32%) of companies say their employees became less productive with remote work. The ability to work remotely has become a basic requirement for an employer to stay competitive in many industries, according to Hanif Hemani, an Express franchise owner in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. “Quite simply the ‘genie is out of the bottle’ and most employers have offered and continue to offer work from home options,” said Hemani. “Remote work isn’t going anywhere and, in fact, employers are using this flexibility as a recruitment strategy.” Hemani says hybrid work weeks have become the most popular remote work model. “Most businesses are electing a hybrid model requiring employees to be in the office for a set number of days,” he said. “Typically, I am finding that the 3 consecutive days in office is a popular and good option, as all employees are available for face-to-face meetings on one set day of the week.” There are some potential drawbacks to remote work. “Recent insights from some large surveys have warned that remote work can stifle innovation, as employees tend to interact (remotely) with only the same group of people, and cross divisional collaboration and cross pollination of ideas can become less frequent as innovation can often occur from in-person ‘watercooler’ interactions,” said Hemani. “Remote work can also cause a disconnect between employees and their managers which can lead to problems down the road.” But there are also many benefits to offering remote work. “Remote work is popular and desired by many employees, and if employees are happier, this should lead to better engagement, which can lead to better productivity,” he said. “If employees are more engaged and more productive then the employer will benefit. In addition, if employees are more satisfied, they will be less likely to leave which will save companies time and money not having to deal with turnover and recruitment.” When, and if, the country’s labour shortages ease, it remains to be seen if fully remote or hybrid workplace options are as prevalent,” Express Employment Professionals CEO Bill Stoller. “As long as productivity doesn’t suffer, offering a remote work option for employees has many benefits and is a popular incentive shaping many companies’ cultures right now,” he added. “While this arrangement may not be feasible for everyone, competition for top talent is still fierce, so it may be worth a try.” About Bill Stoller William H. "Bill" Stoller is chairman and chief executive officer of Express Employment International. Identity Orchestration Company, Strata Identity Joins Cloud Security Alliance

Strata Identity | January 04, 2023

Strata Identity, a company that provides identity orchestration services, has joined the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), a global organization focused on promoting best practices for secure cloud computing. Strata Identity will work with CSA members on projects related to the open source IDQL Standard and identity orchestration. The open source IDQL Standard and identity orchestration are two ways that Strata Identity is working to make cloud computing safer. Strata Identity's platform allows incompatible cloud identity systems to work together, allowing customers to unify access policies and governance. The company is also a founding member of Hexa, an open source identity federation software, and the IDQL Standard for policy orchestration. Strata Identity wants to make cloud computing safe for its customers by helping them bring their access policies and governance together. "Lack of interoperability between individual cloud identity platforms and their legacy on-premises brethren is holding back app modernization and cloud migration projects. We look forward to collaborating with the CSA’s extensive community of vendors, enterprises, and industry influencers to advance open standards for cloud identity orchestration." Eric Olden, CEO of Strata Identity Eric Olden, CEO of Strata Identity, said the company is looking forward to collaborating with the CSA to advance open standards for cloud identity orchestration. The CEO of the CSA, Jim Reavis, said that Strata Identity's expertise in multi-cloud identity orchestration will help CSA members deal with problems related to app modernization. Strata Identity is going to work with the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) to help advance open standards for cloud identity orchestration. About Strata Identity Strata Identity has made a name for itself as the leader in identity orchestration for hybrid and multi-cloud environments with its innovative Maverics platform. This recipe-driven solution enables organizations to integrate and manage even the most incompatible identity systems while preserving a consistent user experience. By separating applications from identity, Maverics makes it possible to use modern authentication methods like password-less login and enforce consistent access policies without having to spend a lot of money refactoring source code.
