Promevo and Cameyo have partnered to help organizations deliver a seamless and secure Google-based digital workspace that enables productivity from anywhere. The partnership brings together Cameyo's Chrome Enterprise Recommended Virtual App Delivery (VAD) platform, Google Cloud, ChromeOS, Google Workspace, and Promevo's gPanel® workspace user management platform for an end-to-end digital workspace solution without vendor lock-in. This enables organizations to select which pieces of the Google ecosystem they need while maintaining the flexibility to run in any cloud, hybrid, or on-premises environment.
"Especially in this economic environment, there is very little appetite for vendor lock-in as organizations roll out their long-term digital workspace strategies," said Gabe Knuth, Senior EUC Analyst at Enterprise Strategy Group (ESG). "Both Cameyo and Promevo are long-time Google partners and have deep integration with the Google technology stack - but, like Google, they are focused on meeting organizations where they are today rather than requiring they go all in on a particular vendor, cloud, or operating system."
Through this partnership, Promevo has added Cameyo's cloud desktop solution to its portfolio of services. As a result, Promevo clients can utilize any of the following solutions to match their needs:
Cameyo Virtual App Delivery (VAD) - Cameyo is the Chrome Enterprise Recommended virtualization solution that enables organizations to give their people access to all of their needed apps - Windows, Linux, SaaS, and internal web apps - from any device, without virtual desktops or VPNs. Cameyo is deeply integrated with Google, including:
ChromeOS - Cameyo enables any app to be delivered to ChromeOS devices as PWAs.
Google Cloud - Cameyo's fully-hosted solution runs in Google Cloud, or organizations can self-host Cameyo on-premises or in the cloud of their choice.
Google Workspace - Cameyo enables organizations using Google Workspace to access all remaining legacy apps side-by-side with Google Workspace apps.
Promevo gPanel® - gPanel® is a centralized user management and security interface that automates many common admin tasks and provides visibility and complete control over Google Workspace users' data and settings.
"We believe that by harnessing the capabilities of Google, organizations in any industry can accelerate growth," said Karthik Kripapuri, CEO at Promevo. "Cameyo's virtual app delivery solution is so integrated into the Google ecosystem that it feels like a native product, providing a user experience that enables productivity from anywhere."
Promevo is a Google Premier Partner that offers Google Workspace, Google Chrome, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, solutions, and proprietary software to help customers navigate, monitor, and optimize their Google technology infrastructure.

Cloudbrink today announced that it signed a global reseller agreement with NEC Networks & System Integration Corporation (NESIC).
NESIC will have exclusive rights in Japan to the Hybrid Access as a Service (HAaaS) platform, which provides fast, secure access to cloud and data center applications for hybrid workers.
NESIC has a commanding position in the Japanese market, where it is a leading reseller of Zoom. Accelerating videoconferencing applications for remote/hybrid workers is one of the major use cases for Cloudbrink.
The deal with NESIC follows extensive testing across multiple applications including collaboration tools, file transfer and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI).
Osamu Kikuchi, senior vice president NEC Networks & System Integration, said: “Productivity and security are the twin challenges faced by our customers in the hybrid working era. In tests, the Cloudbrink service demonstrated significantly enhanced performance for SaaS applications, particularly in environments where network connections were less reliable, such as for users working remotely from home or on business trips. With the Cloudbrink app, NESIC can optimize the network for our customers wherever they are, without compromising on security and without the need for additional hardware.”
Prakash Mana, chief executive and co-founder of Cloudbrink, said: “We’re delighted to be working with one of the world’s most successful companies. Our approach is all about making sure that the experience users have had for more than a decade in the office can follow them wherever their work takes them. Until now IT departments have struggled to keep remote users secure, as well as having to deal with networking issues they often couldn’t solve. The deal with NESIC testifies that we’ve successfully addressed both of these issues.”
The Cloudbrink service comprises an app and a global network of virtual PoPs called FAST edges to overcome packet loss, latency and other problems at the edge of the network, together with high-performance ZTNA and Moving Target Defense (MTD) for enterprise-grade security. Cloudbrink also provides a connector for secure, low-latency access to data center applications.
Cloudbrink brings the industry’s first highest-performance connectivity to the modern hybrid workforce anywhere in the world. The company uses AI and ML to provide edge-native hybrid access as a service (HAaaS). HAaaS delivers accelerated performance for cloud, SaaS, and data center applications.

Mobile Experts Inc. released a detailed market study today, highlighting the growth of Virtual RAN. In particular, this report estimates the pricing and adoption of vDU and vCU software from 2022 through 2032, showing how vRAN will grow through 5G deployments and accelerate with 5.5G or 6G deployments.
Mobile Experts has collected data from dozens of software and hardware suppliers, as well as 20 different mobile operators, in order to pinpoint the specific opportunities served by virtualization in upcoming mobile networks. Major distinctions between public and private networks are illustrated, along with the impact of COTS semiconductors in the radio and the impact of virtualization in 2G through 4G networks.
This new report complements the recent Mobile Experts report on Open RAN, which highlights the performance, cost, and flexibility implications of Open RAN standards in the market. Together, these two reports provide a complete picture of the changing architecture in mobile networks.
Joe Madden, lead analyst at Mobile Experts, commented that "We consistently predicted in 2013 through 2020 that vRAN would take a long time to reach global acceptance. This report shows the specific outlook over a 10-year timeline, as we can now see a path toward widespread adoption. We expect the biggest growth when new spectrum arrives in the 2028 timeframe. By 2032, vRAN software will be used in more than 30% of new deployments."
Subscribers to Mobile Experts research will receive:
Full access to the 55-page Virtual RAN 2023 report;
