We asked 1,200 cloud security decision-makers in 8 countries about their biggest challenges and priorities. This is what they had to share. As sensitive data is going to the cloud, there are new security considerations. With benefits such as greater agility, rapid innovation, and cost efficiency, cloud adoption is rapidly reaching a tipping point. As a result, security professionals are looking to raise C-level threat awareness, strengthen compliance, and invest in better protection.

NSX-V to NSX-T Migration- Multi-DC Micro-Segmentation

February 16, 2022 | 8:30 PM PST

Learn how to migrate a multi data center environment from NSX-V Primary/Secondary to NSX-T Federation using cITopus using both Lift-n-Shift and In-Place migration options. cITopus Lift-n-Shift and InPlace migration utilities convert all NSX-V networking and security components including Logical Switches, Transport Zones, ESXi VxLAN, Edges, (Universal) Distributed Logical Router, (Universal) Sections, (Universal) Distributed Firewall Rules, (Universal) Security Groups, (Universal) Security Tags, IP Sets, and Dynamic Inclusions and Exclusions from multiple data centers into Federated NSX-T architecture. The demonstration will also include merging multiple NSX-V environments into a single NSX-T environment (Federated or Local). cITopus has capabilities to promote all NSX-V global objects to NSX-T federated, allowing users to manage all multi-dc objects form a single pane of glass, which is NSX-T Global Manager.

NSX-V to NSX-T Migration - Propagation from V to T

March 30, 2022 | 8:30 PM PDT

This presentation and demo will explain the need for propagating changes from NSX-V to NSX-T environments after the NSX-V to NSX-T migration is completed. This session will also include a demonstration of scheduling propagation from NSX-V to NSX-T using cITopus. The propagation process will automatically schedule migration of newly created NSX-V Universal and Global Micro-Segmentation to NSX-T Federated and Local environments. The demonstration will also include generation of propagation reports for auditing, reporting, and managing the overall propagation process. The presentation will also include content on migrating virtual machines live from on-premises environments to cloud environments i.e. VMC and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
