As part of an ongoing strategic plan for global footprint growth, NetActuate announces the launch of services from Santiago, Chile. Anycast, virtual machines, bare metal, colocation, and network services are now available from a second edge location in South America. NetActuate’s recently upgraded São Paulo, Brazil data center was the first edge location, deployed in June 2018.
Santiago is clearly emerging as a leading technology hub in the region, and we are thrilled to add it to our growing global footprint,

NetActuate’s data center in Chile enables customers to reach end users across the LATAM region with greater speed and reliability. Recent reports predict that bandwidth growth across Latin America is anticipated to grow 63% over the coming years, ultimately reaching 1,430+ Tbps of installed capacity by 2022, and contributing more than 10% of interconnection bandwidth globally. Much of this growth, up to 31%, will be driven by the content and digital media industry.
While development and implementation of new health policies and safety practices pushed out our deployment date, protecting the health and safety of our staff and global partners continues to be our number one priority,
Mark Mahle, CEO and Principal Technology Architect of NetActuate.
