2022 IEEE the 8th International Conference on Virtual Reality (ICVR 2022) will be held during May 20-22, 2022 in Nanjing, China.

The objective of the Technical Committee on Communications Switching and Routing (TC CSR) is to advance the state of the art in theory and applications of information switching and networking. It brings together professionals with interests in various aspects of Communications Switching and Routing such as theory and architecture (B-ISDN/ATM, optical switching), teletraffic theory, mobility and call control, signaling protocol, Intelligent Networks, and service features, switching software architecture, management, economics, and applications of switching and routing systems. HPSR is the flagship conference of the Communications Switching and Routing Technical Committee of IEEE COMSOC

Speaking proposals are sought for a Virtual Workshop on Testbed for Future Networks, hosted by IEEE Future Networks Initiative, International Network Generations Roadmap (INGR). The virtual event will take place 8-10 February 2021. The deadline for speaking proposals is 16 January 2022 and acceptance notifications will be distributed no later than two weeks later.

The safety and well-being of all conference participants is our priority. After evaluating the current COVID-19 situation in New Zealand and the uncertainty around International travel, the decision has been made to transform the in-person component of IEEE VR 2022 into an all-digital conference experience and will now be an online event. Therefore, IEEE VR 2022 will no longer take place in Christchurch, New Zealand and will instead take place virtually. The conference dates remain the same (12 – 16 March 2022). Proceedings will not be cancelled, and publications will continue as planned. Our goal is to provide the best experience for virtual attendees, following in the historical footsteps of the virtual experience of VR 2020 in Atlanta and VR 2021 in Lisbon.
