ITW is back and in its new home in National Harbor! We are delighted to be bringing the global ICT Infra industry back together in-person and online for a blended experience that will provide you with even more ways to network and connect with industry decision-makers attending in-person and logged online. Alongside the countless networking opportunities and exciting features we have planned, we’ll be covering what’s to come for networks, connectivity and more with 8 unique live & virtual streams so you can laser-focus on the areas you need to meet your business objectives. ITW 2021 will be packed with discussions, connections, collaborations and communities from around the globe and we can’t wait to welcome everyone this September! Develop new relationships with decision-makers from the businesses driving ICT infrastructure forwards. With both physical and virtual networking opportunities, ITW 2021 facilitates deal-making for those looking to expand their horizons. Built with networking in mind, ITW brings together the international carrier, subsea, infrastructure, data centre, cloud, software and content application communities and more. The virtual dimension makes ITW even more accessible to new attendees than ever before and the in-person experience connects the world in one place. This year’s ITW will be like no other! A truly blended event experience will allow you to connect with peers in-person at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center or online through our virtual platform – Swapcard. The AI matchmaking system will connect you with the most relevant participants, allowing you to maximise your networking time at the event.

As Local Area Network (LAN) and Storage Area Network (SAN) technology has matured, it has become very beneficial to merge them into a common technology. They are converging under Ethernet based technology and protocols. This paper addresses some of the benefits of this convergence, as driven by virtualization and technology advancements. Some performance comparisons and Best Practices on how to enable convergence through iSCSI with Data Center Bridging (DCB) under VMware® environments are presented.

OTHER PAST CONFERENCES

International Telecommunication Networks and Applications Conference

November 24-26, 2021 | Australia

With the increasing focus on modelling and simulation in the fields of cyber-networks, data mining, cyber security, distributed computing, mobile computing, cognitive computing, cloud computing, computing tools, applications, simulation tools, system performance and data and computer communications the demand for high quality research outcomes has never been greater. ITNAC has been the forum for researchers and engineers to present and discuss topics related to advanced computing and data communication network technologies, services and applications. Novel contributions are presented in the form of keynote speeches by international experts, peer-reviewed technical papers, and posters. ITNAC 2021 is an international conference and forum for the presentation of research outcomes covering timely and relevant aspects concerning modelling and simulation of distributed, mobile, cognitive and cloud computing, computer and data communications, local and metropolitan networks, optical, wired and wireless telecommunication networks and applications. Advances in optical communications, hybrid networks, and the utilization of new and innovative approaches to make networks more reliable and resilient has continued. The goal of this track is to provide a forum for the presentation of new advances, ideas, and solutions from theoretical, experimental, and applied research to address specific new challenges and emerging issues concerned with this field. We seek papers describing original, previously unpublished research results.

International Conference on Virtual Reality Technology ICVRT

November 19-21, 2021 | China

Wherever it is too dangerous, expensive or impractical to do something in reality, virtual reality is the answer. As the cost of virtual reality goes down and it becomes more mainstream you can expect more serious uses, such as education or productivity applications, to come to the fore. Virtual reality and its cousin augmented reality could substantively change the way we interface with our digital technologies and continue the trend of humanising our technology. After successfully holding three editions, 2021 4th International Conference on Virtual Reality Technology (ICVRT 2021) will be held in Wuhan, China during November 19-21, 2021. ICVRT 2021 solicits contributions worldwide that illustrate research results, projects, surveys and industrial experiences in Virtual Reality Technology fields. It aims to serve as an annual platform for students, academics and industry researchers in related fields to exchange face to face and boost inspirations.

IEEE NFV-SDN 2021: IEEE Conference on Network Function Virtualization and Software Defined Networks 2021

November 9-11, 2021 | Greece

The 7th IEEE Conference on Network Functions Virtualization and Software-Defined Networking (IEEE NFV-SDN 2021) will be a virtual event in 2021. The conference is scheduled to take place online from 9-11 November 2021. In 2021, IEEE NFV-SDN conference will focus on the foundation, design, verification, operation, security, and evolution of virtualized network functions (VNFs) and the advances in the NFV concept. In addition, the 2021 conference includes the investigation of the relationship Beyond 5G/6G networks and transmission technologies will have with applications within the NFV architectural concepts. Special interest will be given to how Beyond 5G/6G applications are designed, orchestrated, and managed by NFV mechanisms and VNFs. IEEE NFV-SDN 2021 continues as the premier IEEE event on the latest NFV and SDN concepts and mechanisms.
