The safety and well-being of all conference participants is our priority. After evaluating the current COVID-19 situation in New Zealand and the uncertainty around International travel, the decision has been made to transform the in-person component of IEEE VR 2022 into an all-digital conference experience and will now be an online event. Therefore, IEEE VR 2022 will no longer take place in Christchurch, New Zealand and will instead take place virtually. The conference dates remain the same (12 – 16 March 2022). Proceedings will not be cancelled, and publications will continue as planned.
Our goal is to provide the best experience for virtual attendees, following in the historical footsteps of the virtual experience of VR 2020 in Atlanta and VR 2021 in Lisbon.

The 18th IEEE/IFIP Network Operations and Management Symposium (NOMS 2022) will be held on 25-29 April 2022 in Budapest, Hungary.
Held in even-numbered years since 1988, NOMS 2022 will follow the 34 years tradition of NOMS and IM as the primary IEEE Communications Society's forum for technical exchange on management of information and communication technology focusing on research, development, integration, standards, service provisioning, and user communities.
The theme of NOMS 2022 is Network and Service Management in the Era of Cloudification, Softwarization and Artificial Intelligence. It aims to capture recent results, emerging approaches, and technical solutions for dealing with the management of Fixed and Mobile Networks and Services, Clouds, and Vertical Eco-Systems (e.g., smart cities and smart transportations).

The objective of the Technical Committee on Communications Switching and Routing (TC CSR) is to advance the state of the art in theory and applications of information switching and networking. It brings together professionals with interests in various aspects of Communications Switching and Routing such as theory and architecture (B-ISDN/ATM, optical switching), teletraffic theory, mobility and call control, signaling protocol, Intelligent Networks, and service features, switching software architecture, management, economics, and applications of switching and routing systems.
