Delphix Updates DataOps Platform for AWS, NetBackup, Jenkins

Delphix, which simply created its own sector of the IT market a year ago based on the way its platform manages and consumes data, on July 2 released updates that it says will give developers greater self-service capabilities to speed up application development times in key enterprise initiatives.Celebrating its 10th year in business this year, the Redwood City, Calif.-based company has made its investment on DataOps, a new slice of the IT business that it identified and named. The company uses DevOps, DataOps and a tool called Data Pods to provide its own brand of IT data management that has been earning contracts from a growing number (now numbering about 400) of customers. The customer list is impressive and includes AT&T, Clorox, Fannie Mae, HPE, Toyota and more than 30 of the Fortune 100.
