The latest announcement aims to respond to the increased demand for effective technology optimization solutions. With strategic virtualization solutions, businesses across sectors can improve their IT infrastructure while reducing the physical space needed to house hardware, lowering their energy costs, and offering staff the ability to access business IT systems from anywhere.

We are offering capabilities that enable you to separate your IT resources from your in-house environment, explained a spokesperson for the company. That means you can actually do more with less, because your technology will be delivered to you via the Internet, instead of taking over your office.

By virtualizing your in-house technology, you’ll be able to access more IT, more memory and more software than is physically installed in your office, because it’s all hosted by IT Management Solutions offsite. That means you no longer have a single point of failure with everything taking up space in your office. IT Management Solutions will take care of your most important IT assets for you, they added.

The company’s new virtualization solutions allow businesses to benefit from improved performance without compromising on accessibility and with massive reductions in hardware maintenance and energy costs.

Companies can get access to advanced technologies without having to install additional equipment, and all software can be easily accessed remotely. In light of the current COVID-19 mitigation policies, this allows businesses to implement work-from-home or telecommuting programs.

To assist businesses in transitioning to telecommuting, IT Management Solutions has created a free guide on how to set up a work-from-home remote access system. Finally, with optimized technology storage and management solutions, the risk of cyber crime is also substantially reduced.

With the latest announcement, the company continues to expand its cutting-edge IT solutions to meet the diverse needs of businesses throughout New England.

IT Management Solutions has more than a decade of experience serving businesses in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Maine. The company has established a strong reputation for professionalism and service quality, as reflected in its flawless 5-star rating out of more than 110 Google reviews.

A satisfied client said: I have been working directly with Pedro and his team at IT Management Solutions for over a year and a half now. The attention to detail and level of customer service provided is second to none. Their broad knowledge of IT infrastructure, data security and multi-vendor platforms continues to assist our company’s expansion domestically and throughout Latin America. I would highly recommend ITMS.

Tachyum Demonstrates Support for Xen Hypervisor

businesswire | August 03, 2023

Tachyum® today announced that it has completed porting of all the software necessary for chip validation on the Prodigy FPGA prototype before it is sent for tape out with the successful running of the Xen hypervisor on a QEMU software emulator. Xen is a type-1 hypervisor providing services that allow multiple virtual machines to run on a single physical host system, sharing resources such as memory, processing and devices. Its bare metal capabilities allow the Xen hypervisor to communicate directly from the host’s hardware, acting like a lightweight operating system. It supports four types of virtualization: paravirtualization, full hardware virtualization, full virtualization with a set of paravirtualization drivers, and paravirtualization with hardware virtualization support. Tachyum demonstrated its support of XEN running in three different modes: Standard “dom0” mode – the most privileged domain and the only virtual machine that has direct access to hardware by default. From dom0, the hypervisor can be managed and unprivileged domains (domU) can be launched. Hyperlaunch – enabled seamless transition for existing systems that require a dom0. Provides a new general capability to build and launch alternative configurations of VMs, including support for static partitioning and accelerated start of VMs during host boot while adhering to the principles of least privileged. Dom0less – a set of Xen features that enable the deployment of a Xen system without a control domain (dom0). It is a hyperlaunch-like configuration with static partitioning without using dom0. This means that there are no virtual devices and hardware resources are statically assigned to a specific virtual machine using the passthrough method. “In order to assure that Prodigy truly becomes the means for transforming data centers into Universal Computing Centers, we need to ensure that it can properly handle any number of components, software and technology available now or in the future,” said Dr. Radoslav Danilak, founder and CEO of Tachyum. “By successfully running Xen in our Prodigy software emulator, we can confidently assure organizations that they will reap the full benefits of Prodigy when it becomes commercially available. I’m proud of the work of our highly skilled software team as they continue to complete the final components needed before tape out.” Prodigy delivers unprecedented data center performance, power, and economics, reducing CAPEX and OPEX significantly. Because of its utility for both high-performance and line-of-business applications, Prodigy-powered data center servers can seamlessly and dynamically switch between workloads, eliminating the need for expensive dedicated AI hardware and dramatically increasing server utilization. Tachyum's Prodigy delivers performance up to 4x that of the highest performing x86 processors (for cloud workloads) and up to 3x that of the highest performing GPU for HPC and 6x for AI applications. About Tachyum Tachyum is transforming the economics of AI, HPC, public and private cloud workloads with Prodigy, the world’s first Universal Processor. Prodigy unifies the functionality of a CPU, a GPGPU, and a TPU in a single processor that delivers industry-leading performance, cost, and power efficiency for both specialty and general-purpose computing. When hyperscale data centers are provisioned with Prodigy, all AI, HPC, and general-purpose applications can run on the same infrastructure, saving companies billions of dollars in hardware, footprint, and operational expenses. As global data center emissions contribute to a changing climate, and consume more than four percent of the world’s electricity—projected to be 10 percent by 2030—the ultra-low power Prodigy Universal Processor is a potential breakthrough for satisfying the world’s appetite for computing at a lower environmental cost. Prodigy, now in its final stages of testing and integration before volume manufacturing, is being adopted in prototype form by a rapidly growing customer base, and robust purchase orders signal a likely IPO in late 2024. Tachyum has offices in the United States and Slovakia.

Along with complete access, MacDrive 11 performs more than 40% faster than other available solutions – all while protecting your data from failure. For over 25 years, MacDrive has been the industry standard for reading, writing and managing HFS+ Mac disks in Windows. MacDrive 11 builds on this strong tradition by adding unmatched support for APFS disks with full read and write access, and protections not available in any other solution. MacDrive is the most robust, most advanced utility enabling users to share drives between Macs and PCs. MacDrive 11 comes in two variations; Standard to access almost any APFS or HFS+ formatted Mac drive, and Pro with advanced disk support for OWC's SoftRAID and Apple RAID 0/1 volumes. MacDrive 11 APFS Functionality Highlights: Read and write: MacDrive 11 is the only solution that provides full read-and-write support for APFS volumes–even if the volume has duplicated files or has been backed up by Time Machine. Crash Protection: Unlike other solutions, if an APFS disk is unexpectedly unplugged, existing files and data are safe, and won't be corrupted. Multi-volume disks: APFS allows users to create multiple volumes in a single partition and share free space between volumes. Only MacDrive lets user effortlessly switch between volumes to access all of their data. Formatting: Don't have a Mac, but want to share files with someone that does? MacDrive enables the creation APFS and HFS+ volumes right on a PC. Snapshots: When backed up with Time Machine, macOS creates "snapshots" on APFS volumes. MacDrive provides access to all snapshots, letting users restore deleted or edited files from previous states, even when a Time Machine backup isn't available. Duplicated files: In macOS, APFS files can be instantly duplicated, without consuming additional disk space. Only MacDrive provides full read-write access to duplicated files on APFS volumes. Make Windows Smarter Once installed, MacDrive 11 makes Windows "Mac aware" by enabling PCs to read and write Mac disks just like PC disks. There is nothing to launch or learn; simply connect a Mac disk and access almost any hard drives, SSDs (solid state drives), CDs, DVDs, floppies, and more. Additional MacDrive 11 Features: Full circle compatibility: Streamline editing and collaboration processes by sharing Mac disks with Windows users as well as formatting Mac disks direct from a PC for true cross-platform workflows. Repair Mac disks: MacDrive's Disk Repair feature will automatically detect issues with Mac disks and will fix common errors on disks (HFS+ only). Time Machine backups: Browse through Time Machine backups as well as copy those files and folders to a Windows PC. Native or virtual: Works with Apple's Boot Camp utility and virtualization software like VMware Fusion or Parallels. File defragmentation: Improve disk performance with automatic file defragmentation and optimization (HFS+ only).
