VMware Announces Update To VMware HCX Enterprise

Last week (Aug. 8) VMware Inc. updated its enterprise application mobility platform VMware HCX, which the company says is designed to "simplify workload migration, workload rebalancing, and optimize disaster recovery [DR] across datacenters and clouds. The update introduces three key features to help enterprise customers streamline "the process of connecting, populating, and continually optimizing application placement in modern cloud infrastructures": Non-vSphere to vSphere migration, large-scale bulk migration and advanced DR with Site Recovery Manager integration
